We started by building software for other people.

A Chicago consultancy in 2012, a platform company of fifty people in Frisco today.

The short version

Fourteen years of building the thing that was missing

2012

Founded in Chicago

As The Social Plus, building custom systems for mortgage lenders and community banks.

80+

People on staff

Design, engineering, payments, marketing and support, all in-house, not subcontracted.

12

Products shipped

Each one built because a customer needed it and nothing on the market fit.

1

Platform underneath

Which is the part that took the longest and matters the most.

Why we exist

Ideas are easy. Implementation is hard.

That sentence has been on our wall since the beginning, and it is the whole reason the company exists. Every business we have worked with knew roughly what they wanted. Almost none of them had a path to actually getting it, because the tools did not connect, the vendors did not care, and the integration always cost more than the software.

So we built the connected version. Twelve applications on one shared core, with a services team behind them for the parts software cannot do on its own. Not because a unified platform is a clever market position, but because we spent a decade watching businesses lose money in the gaps between their tools.

  • Build it properly or do not ship it. Every app shares one database because that is the only honest way to make them work together.
  • Be straight about cost. Interchange-plus pricing, itemised usage, and we will tell you when we are more expensive.
  • Stay reachable. Named humans, not a ticket queue in another timezone.

The story

How a consultancy became a platform

Nothing here was planned in a strategy deck. Each product exists because a customer asked for something and the honest answer was that it did not exist yet.

2012

The Social Plus opens in Chicago

Two people doing IT consulting and custom development, mostly for mortgage banking. The first real client is The Federal Savings Bank, needing a better loan-application flow.

2014

Lending workflows, properly built

Work with People’s Home Equity deepens the document handling, audit trail and pipeline discipline that still sit underneath Kore CRM today.

2016

Launch of Smartbox

The internal tools we kept rebuilding for clients become products: Claritask for projects, Claritick for tickets, Convosio for live chat.

2020

Inception of Mydev which turned into Kore.co

iPaymer and iReview launch after too many clients ask why their processing statement is unreadable and their Google rating is a mystery.

2021

Reputation and Management Launched

Headquarters relocate to Frisco. The team passes thirty people and the hospitality side of the business grows quickly.

2023

Move to Frisco Texas

Restaurant operators are the loudest customers, so front-of-house and ordering get built properly rather than bolted on.

2024

All solutions, One Platform

The hard project: everything migrated onto a single shared database, so the apps stop being a suite and start being a system.

2025

Reservations and Online Orders Launch

Because once the data genuinely lives in one place, you can just ask it questions.

2026

AI in all of our platforms

How we work

Four things we will not trade away

01

Transparency

We show you the maths. Interchange-plus processing with our margin stated as a number, itemised message usage, and an honest answer when a competitor is a better fit than us.

02

Quality

One shared core took years longer than shipping a suite of loosely connected apps. We did it anyway, because the alternative would have been a worse product with a better launch date.

03

Accessibility

A restaurant with one location gets the same platform, the same security and the same support as a fourteen-site group. The price scales; the product does not get worse.

04

Innovation

We refuse to stand still. If a customer needs something that does not exist, our development team builds it, which is how most of these products started.

Including the relationships with Fiserv, Clover, Telnyx, DoorDash and Google Cloud.

We hire people who would rather own a problem than be handed a ticket. Mostly Frisco-based with hybrid flexibility, and a few fully remote roles.

Customers

What customers say about working with us

Restaurants, dealerships, clinics and franchise groups run their day on Kore. Here is what they say when we are not in the room.

“Working with KORE.CO has been phenomenal. Their unwavering dedication to fulfilling requests and delivering top-notch service showcases their professionalism and reliability.”

William Dayman Client, Des Moines, Iowa

“Kore.co has played a crucial role in assisting my company exceed growth expectations using their expertise in Website and Mobile App development. No task is too tough for them!”

Chris Brown Client, Las Vegas, Nevada

“The professionalism, talent, smooth processes, and general enthusiasm equaled a top notch experience. I highly recommend this company.”

Lori Lynch Director of Special Events, Camillus House

“Our company’s journey with iReview has been nothing short of transformative. Before iReview, managing our online reputation was a constant challenge, but the platform’s powerful features have completely changed the game for us.”

Carl Ferland Owner/Operator Denny’s Franchisee

“The floor plan is live on every device now, and deposits took our Friday no-shows down to almost nothing. The host stand knows who is walking in before they reach the podium.”

Marisol Vega General manager, restaurant group, Austin, Texas

“Our own ordering page takes more volume than the marketplaces now, and we keep the whole ticket. Same kitchen, same board, three points better on margin.”

Dan Whitfield Owner, pizzeria, Columbus, Ohio

“The cards on the tables did what a year of asking never did. Reviews come in daily, and an unhappy one reaches my phone before it reaches Google.”

Priya Raman Multi-site operator, Plano, Texas

“SMS, WhatsApp and email in one inbox means nothing sits unanswered overnight. The lapsed-guest campaign paid for the platform in its first month.”

Tom Beckett Marketing lead, hospitality group, Nashville, Tennessee

“Every call, booking and payment lands on the same customer record. My team stopped asking each other who spoke to whom.”

Alicia Nguyen Sales director, Chicago, Illinois

“The auto-attendant picks up the calls nobody used to, and every conversation is logged against the customer. We answer in two rings.”

Greg Halloran Service manager, dealership group, Phoenix, Arizona

“They went through our old processing statement line by line and showed us what we were actually paying. The rate came down and funding is next day.”

Sandra Ruiz Owner, clinic group, Miami, Florida

“Picking is guided, so a new hire is useful on day one. Stock counts have matched the system every month since we moved over.”

Kevin Doyle Operations manager, distribution, Dallas, Texas
FAQ

Questions, answered

Still not sure? Talk to someone who works with the platform every day.

Headquarters are at 6605 Warren Parkway, Suite 760, Frisco, TX 75034. The company started in Chicago in 2012 and relocated to Texas in 2021.

No. Every application is built by our own engineering team on our own platform. We partner for infrastructure: card processing through Fiserv and Clover, telephony through Telnyx, hosting on Google Cloud, because building a card network would be a strange use of our time.

Yes, through MyDev. It is where the company started and it is still how several products came to exist. If your workflow needs a piece that does not exist, that is a conversation we are happy to have.

Over fifty people, roughly half in engineering and product, the rest across design, operations, payments, marketing and support.

Usually. Current openings are listed above, and we read speculative applications properly. If you are good and there is no listed role, write to us anyway.
